OUR APPROACH
Inpatient Mental Health Treatment
Approach
Medication Management
Psychiatrists and other qualified medical professionals provide medication evaluation and management as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. Medications are prescribed and monitored based on each patient’s symptoms, response to treatment, and clinical needs. Adjustments may be made throughout treatment when clinically appropriate.
Group Therapy
Patients participate in structured group therapy sessions that may incorporate evidence-informed approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Group sessions provide opportunities for skill development, peer support, and discussion of topics related to mental health, emotional regulation, and recovery.
Family Consultation
When appropriate and authorized by the patient, family members may be involved in treatment planning and educational discussions. Family participation can help improve communication, strengthen support systems, and support continuity of care following treatment.
Benefits
Structured Treatment Environment
Inpatient treatment provides a structured setting where patients can receive behavioral health services, clinical support, and ongoing monitoring while focusing on treatment and stabilization.
Ongoing Clinical Monitoring
Regular interaction with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other members of the treatment team allows for ongoing assessment of symptoms, treatment response, and care needs throughout hospitalization.
Family and Support System Involvement
When appropriate, family involvement can support communication, discharge planning, and continuity of care. Education and collaboration with support systems may help patients and families better understand treatment recommendations and available resources following discharge.
